What do you need?
To set up the integration with Kwebbl, you need two things:
• A SIP account, which registers your AI Colleague with Kwebbl.
• A user in Kwebbl, linked to the SIP account. This lets you add the AI Colleague to a call flow, queue, ring group, IVR menu, or direct call forwarding.
Step 1: Create a SIP account in Kwebbl
Log in to Kwebbl and go to the “Devices” tab. Click “Add”.
Step 2: Select brand and model
You'll now see an overview of brands and types.
• Under “Brand”, choose “Other”.
• Under “Model”, enter: Atelyr.
Step 3: Name the SIP account and link a user
Give the SIP account a name. It doesn't need to be specific — for example “AI Colleague” or the name of your AI Colleague in Atelyr (e.g. “Stanley”).
Already created a user earlier? Select it right away. No user yet? Leave this field blank; you'll link the user later in this guide (see Step 5).
Leave “IP Whitelist” and “Hotdesking” both set to “No”.
Click “Create”.
Step 4: Link the SIP credentials in Atelyr
After creating the account, you'll see the SIP credentials (username, password, and domain). These are essential: your AI Colleague uses them to register with Kwebbl.
Copy the SIP credentials and go to Atelyr:
• In Atelyr, choose “Connect to telecom provider or PBX”.
• Select the country you operate in.
• Choose “Kwebbl” as the telecom provider.
• Paste the SIP username and password into the matching fields.
NoteSave the SIP account in Kwebbl first, before clicking “Test SIP connection” in Atelyr. The SIP account only becomes active once saved. If you click “Test SIP connection” without saving first, you'll get an error and the AI Colleague won't register. |
Not registering correctly? Edit the SIP account in Kwebbl, change the password, and repeat Step 4.
Registration successful? You'll see a confirmation in Atelyr.
Then click “Deploy (AI Colleague name)”. Atelyr will now prepare and activate the AI Colleague.
SecurityNever share your SIP credentials publicly. They give direct access to your AI Colleague's phone line. |
Already linked a user to the SIP account in Step 3? Then the integration is complete. No user linked yet? Continue with Step 5.
Step 5: Create and link a user
Go back to the Kwebbl portal and click “Users” in the left-hand menu, then “Add”.
Fill in the following details:
• Name
• Email address
• Extension (e.g. 007)
• Password: let this generate automatically; you don't need to save it.
• Outbound phone number: doesn't matter here, since the AI Colleague doesn't make outbound calls itself.
• Device: select the device you created for your AI Colleague in Steps 1–3.
Click “Save” at the top once all fields are filled in.
All set!
Your AI Colleague is now registered in both Kwebbl and Atelyr. You can call the AI Colleague internally using the extension you entered (in this example: 007).
Want your AI Colleague to be reachable for external callers too? Link the AI Colleague's user in the call flow to a queue, IVR menu, ring group, or direct call forwarding. See the example below:
