What do you need?
To set up the integration with Xelion, you need a number of details from Xelion, which you enter in Atelyr:
SIP username
SIP password
Domain
Step 1: Create or find a SIP account in Xelion
To register Atelyr with Xelion, you need a SIP account from Xelion. Create one first, or gather the details of an existing account. Log in to Xelion and navigate to “Devices”. Then click the device you want to link.
Once you've clicked the device, you'll see the required details. Copy the SIP username and SIP password; you'll paste these into Atelyr shortly.
Use the overview below to see which Xelion field matches which field in Atelyr:
Xelion field | Example value | Field in Atelyr |
SIP username | vpbx20_Indy | Username |
SIP password | ••••••••• | Password |
Step 2: Add the SIP account in Atelyr
Copy the details from Xelion and go to Atelyr:
In Atelyr, choose “Connect to telecom provider or PBX”.
Select the country you operate in.
Fill in the details according to the table above.
You still need to get the domain separately from Xelion: click your profile in the top right and copy the URL up to the first “/” (in this example: sip3.virtualpbx.nl).
Paste this into the “Domain” field in Atelyr.
Click “Test SIP connection” at the bottom.
Not registering correctly? Edit the SIP account in Xelion, change the password, and repeat Step 1.
Registration successful? You'll see a confirmation in Atelyr.
Then click “Deploy (AI Colleague name)”. Atelyr will now prepare and activate the AI Colleague.
Security Never share your SIP credentials publicly. They give direct access to your AI Colleague's phone line. |
Step 3: Make the user reachable in Xelion
To make the AI Colleague reachable for callers, link the user/extension to your call flow in Xelion. Can't figure it out? Contact your Xelion provider.
All set!
Your AI Colleague is now registered in both Xelion and Atelyr. You can call the AI Colleague internally using the extension you entered.
